Description

Learn how to breathe underwater and greet local fish face to face. Get a quick and easy introduction to scuba diving and explore the underwater world of Lanzarote. Enjoy the weightlessness and feeling of freedom underwater. This is the perfect program if you want to try scuba diving for the first time and do not have a dive certification. After a briefing, start in shallow water to get comfortable. Practice a few scuba skills and safety guidelines during a confined water session. Start your dive into new territory. Once you are good to go we had out into the open water and enjoy an amazing dive along the reef to a maximum depth of 12m. Explore the incredible underwater world and see fantastic marine life. Your instructors will make your dive as easy and relaxed as possible. The only thing you need to do is to enjoy the experience. Playa Chica is a located in Puerto del Carmen and offer various dive sites. We like to call it our little aquarium. The marine life in Playa Chica is stunning and varies from schools of small fish to big groupers, barracudas, rays, angle sharks, cuttlefish, octopus, sponges, flounders, crabs etc. There is lots of exciting stuff to see, visibility varies from 15-40m. Therefore, even whilst staying shallow during your first dive, you will already have the chance to see quiet some life. However, never forget, everything we can see underwater is a surprise and can never be guaranteed ;) The activity provider focuses on individual groups and providing a high-quality experience. They believe patience and safety are the keys to a fantastic and stress-free dive.

Important Information

  • Depending on availability, booked language, and age of participants, the excursion starts either at approximately 8:15 AM or 12:30 PM. In case you have other activities booked and need to know the exact starting time for the activity, please contact the activity provider via Whatsapp prior to booking. You have to be medically fit for diving. All participants will be required to complete a health questionnaire prior to diving. Some pre-existing medical conditions might prevent you from diving (i.e., asthma, heart problems, certain prescriptive medication, or other serious conditions). In case of doubts please consult the activity provider before booking
